After dropping to a four-year low in 2023, the tribal market rose to record heights in 2024, achieving a 213.3% increase year over year. Optimism was already building in the Tribal Art market at the end of 2023. After a year in which total turnover dropped to €37.55 million, the lowest in three years, could the market go anywhere but up? But few predicted the banner year 2024 would become, with €117.6 million in global turnover. That’s 10 million higher than the previous recent high mark set in 2021.
