11/16 – 20.11.2022 | ART COLOGNE, Hall 11.3, Stand A-028
Let’s zoom in: Spot on ZADIK : In the exhibition, (art) stories about exhibits from the ZADIK archives become visible: From Picasso’s “La Vie”, which is traded via the Thannhauser Gallery and gives insights into the provenance of the work, the developments in the post-war period around the Informel, the ZERO movement towards Concrete Art, Fluxus and Happenings, to the questions: How did Pop Art come to Germany? And how did the 1980s/90s inscribe themselves in ZADIK? In the anniversary year, the ZADIK focuses on its history, the context of art and the diversity in the art market.
Oral History Station: From the 24-hour happening in the Parnass Gallery to auctions at Hauswedell & Nolte to Keith Haring, who painted his pictograms on the Cologne Cathedral Square – were you there and witnessed it? Such encounters and memories can be valuable documentation and are helpful for the work of researchers. Feel free to record them in the ZADIK Oral History Station at the special show!
Further information on the exhibition, which can also be seen in parallel in a variant in the ZADIK in the Mediapark, can be found on the ZADIK website.
