We stand for an interdisciplinary and multi-jurisdictional approach.“
A new course Art and Cultural Heritage Law is now being offered at the Adam Mickiewicz University. The programme aims to provide a comprehensive overview of legal issues pertaining to the international art market, positioning it within a larger cultural heritage law framework. Among the lecturers are members of the TIAMSA Legal committee and scholars involved in the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme.
Registration deadline 30 September 2024
The participants will learn the concepts of art market law and the protection of cultural property. The goal is to make participants familiar with the provisions of international law, regional (EU) and national law applicable to the art market, as well as the mechanisms of the art market with regard to its actors.
To make the course accessible to a wider audience, we have decided to hold some of the modules online. In person teaching will be held in Poznań, scheduled once per semester. The modules are planned to be aggregated in five consecutive days of teaching.
