The workshop features three ten-minute presentations followed by discussion:

– Ruth Sargent Noyes (National Museum of Denmark): Amber materialities of Sanctity between the seventeenth-century Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Grand Duchy of Florence
– Tomasz Grusiecki (Boise State University): A Material to Think With: Prussian Carved Ambers, Self-Reflexivity, and a New Geography of Art
– Rachel King (The British Museum, London): Making under the Microscope: Signed Ambers and the Stories they Tell
