In recent years, Paris has once again become a stronghold of the international art market. The arrival of international galleries, the development of Avenue Matignon as a new artistic artery, and the opening of several major international foundations testify to this phenomenon. The Paris+ par Art Basel Conversations program is curated by Pierre-Alexandre Mateos and Charles Teyssou. Conversations takes place on the Bal de la Marine, a boat on the Seine a few minutes away from the Grand Palais Éphémère, where the fair takes place.
Conversations are open to the public, please book your free ticket. You must download the Art Basel app to access your ticket. Doors will open 10 min before the event. You are also welcome to register for a ticket onsite if there are still spaces available, on a first come first serve basis.
All conversations will also be livestreamed with subtitles on our Facebook page. A recording will be available on our website and YouTube channel after the event. The talks will be translated from French and English, and subtitles are also available in the space. The venue is accessible for wheelchair users.
