Starting October 20, Nora Abrams, the Mark G. Falcone Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, and Amy Whitaker, blockchain expert and assistant professor of visual arts administration at New York University, will co-host a four-part series on non-fungible tokens:
MCA Denver Presents — NFTs: Putting the Fun in Non-Fungible Tokens.
The four sessions will cover the origins of blockchain, artists and making, collectors and buying, and future states across resale royalties, museum governance, and new models of art markets.
The series is free and open to the public (sessions to be recorded).
Owing to the time zone of MCA Denver, the series will take place at 1am CET, but the sessions are recorded.
Wednesdays — October 20 and 27 and November 3 and 10, 8pm EST
