Séminaire Histoire des collections du marché de l’art

The conveners of Collection/ Seminar for History of Collecting and Art Market (Paris), invite applications for papers for their monthly seminars at the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art in 2020. The Seminar provides a forum for academics and curators to present and discuss new research on any topic related to collecting and art market in its widest understanding, both chronologically and in terms of subject matter.

Seminar papers are normally 45 minutes in length followed by an extended discussion, and all the seminars take place at the Institut national d’histoire de l’art (Paris) between 6.30 and 8pm, the 18th February, 17th March, 7th April, 5th May and 9th June.

If interested, please send a short text (300 words) and a brief CV, indicating any months when you would not be available to speak, by Friday 8th November 2019.

We are unable to cover travel or accommodation costs.
