The Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project (JDCRP) Foundation is seeking a Project and Grant Development Officer to join our team, starting as soon as possible. This is a limited-term contract through May 2025, with the possibility of extension depending on funding availability. The Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project Foundation, established in 2019 by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) and the Commission for Art Recovery (CAR), is based in Berlin, Germany. Our mission is to create and populate a central, scalable digital data repository for archival source material on the cultural plunder conducted during the National Socialist regime.
In addition to this digital repository, the JDCRP platform supports research and education projects that uncover the full scope of the theft and highlight the cultural contributions of European pre-WWII Jewry. By leveraging state-of-the-art technology, we develop cross-archival links and improve search capabilities, serving both specialists and the general public.
