Dear TIAMSA Members,
As we start a new year, TIAMSA Board Members, Kim and I send our warmest wishes for the new year. may 2024 bring you and your loved ones happiness and good health, and to the World goodwill, hope and peace.
2024 promises to be a great year for TIAMSA. We are looking forward to a very engaging conference next July, organized and hosted by Georgina Walker and Christopher Marshall at the University of Melbourne. “Multiple Art Markets in an Expanding World: Artists, Agents, Networks, Exchange” will be our first conference in the Southern Hemisphere, we encourage you to join us virtually or in person to hear over 60 presentations and exchange with your colleagues from across the globe. We also hope that with the support of Board Member Philipp Nürnberger, our application to become a Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO) will be accepted, giving TIAMSA the structure it needs for sustainable growth.
In the meantime, throughout the year, we will continue to host regular live-book discussions on recent
publications of interest to our members, and I hope some of you will be able to join me and Board Member Natasha Degen at the College Art Association Conference in Chicago next February.
We are grateful for your continuous support. As we strive to develop a stronger, more global organization to serve you better, we encourage you to reach out to us if you have any requests or suggestions.
With our best wishes
Véronique Chagnon-Burke and Kim Oosterlinck
