STIP: Grant for Provenance Research projects

The German Center for Cultural Heritage and Art Loss Register [Stiftung Deutsches Zentrum Kulturgutverluste] in Magdeburg provides funding for projects for provenance research of Nazi looted art . Application deadline for long-term research projects is 1 October 2017.
Short-term applications are available throughout the year without dead line.

Irrespective of their value, works of art, furniture, books and other cultural objects can be the object of  investigation. The Center promotes systematic stock examinations and basic research of the historical context of the Nazi looted art as well as the research of archives, the reconstruction of private collections, or collections that were disseminated or destroyed during the Nazi regime.

New regulations for researchers apply since 6 Februar, 2017. Find further information here
