Submit a session proposal for CAA 2019

TIAMSA offered a number of memorable events at the past CAA conference (21-24 February 2018), notably a fascinating session organized by Julie Reiss and Véronique Chagnon-Burke and an exciting visit to the Getty Archive and the Getty Provenance Index. The CAA 2019 conference will be held in New York (13-16 Feb 2019, Midtown Hilton) and we are already planning our attendance there. As a CAA affiliated society, TIAMSA is entitled to one academic session (1.5 hours) and one „business meeting“ (1 hour). We will also organize at least one additional event during the conference.

If you would like to propose a session, please send us a title and a short abstract (3-4 sentences) outlining your idea by April 15th 2017 to The TIAMSA Board will then select the most promising proposal, bearing in mind not only academic excellence but also a proposal’s potential interest to our members and visitors of the conference.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide travel grants; however, you may apply for travel grants through the CAA.

We would be very happy to hear from members interested in chairing a session!

With best wishes,
Veronika and Johannes
