Terra Foundation Research Workshop

Looking at the role played by commerce, mechanisms of display, and promotional strategies in late nineteenth and early twentieth century art and visual culture in the United States, this workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss key issues in current doctoral research on American art. Special attention will be given to the challenges and methodologies pertaining to the exploration of American art in a global context.
