TALKING GALLERIES. The International Platform for Galleries is proud to announce the 5th edition of the Barcelona Symposium on 16-17 January 2017, a two-day programme under the title “Consolidating Gallery Strategies” to be held at the MACBA museum.
One of the most influential world-wide European gallerists, Thaddaeus Ropac, will open this year’s symposium with his keynote speech “The Global Gallery”. With galleries in Salzburg, Paris and soon in London, Ropac is at the forefront of the ever-changing gallery sector and will share his expertise about the feverish state of the art business.
Speakers include Georgina Adam, Elba Benítez, Susan Dunne, Jean Frémon, Melanie Gerlis, Carles Guerra, Jesse Ringham, Victoria Siddall, Ossian Ward and many others.
