TIAMSA is happy to share the link to the recording of its fourteenth book discussion: The Social World of Galleries: Contemporary Art, the Market and Internationalization (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2024). Author Alain Quemin (Université Paris-8, GEMASS Sorbonne Université) discussed his new book, followed by a conversation with an esteemed panel of experts, including Kathryn Brown (Loughborough University) and Elisabeth Tiso (Fordham University). The event was moderated by Véronique Chagnon-Burke (Chair-TIAMSA and Co-Founder of Women Art Dealers Digital Archives).
This event, which was held on 13th March 2025, was well attended and drew a lively exchange from an international audience.
