1970’s: 9 Women and Abstraction, curated by Dr. Barbara Stehle at Zürcher Gallery, NY, November 17, 2016 – January 15, 2017

In conjunction with 11 Women of Spirit organized by Zürcher Gallery, NY (September 10-20), you are invited to join in a conversation about women artists which brings together an artist, who was a major presence in the 10th Street New York art scene, a collector who has focused on women artists, a gallerist who shows a deep commitment to women artists like Kyle Staver, Regina Bogat, Kazuko Miyamoto, Lynn Umlauf and a curator who through exhibitions like 1970s: Women and Abstraction at Zürcher gallery in 2016, has contributed to the re-assessment of these women’s place in the canon of art history. 

Join the conversation on Monday, September 14th at 12.00pm, as Véronique Chagnon-Burke will moderate a conversation between Regina Bogat, Floriane de Saint Pierre, Gwenolée Zürcher and Barbara Stehle.
The discussion will be followed by a Q&A.
