TIAMSA congratulates TIAMSA Member Prof. Matthias Weller on his recent appointment as arbitrator to the Court of Arbitration for Art (CAfA). A joint initiative of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute and Authentication in Art, CAfA was founded to resolve disputes in the wider art community through mediation and arbitration. As such, it offers parties to administrate their arbitration and mediation proceedings with the assistance of the Secretariat of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute. Matthias Weller is Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Professor for Civil Law, Art Law, and Protection of Cultural Property Law at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
